CRC seminar

Understanding the new UK Carbon Reduction Commitment legislation
and profiting from it

If your UK organisation or group consumed over 6,000 MWh (6,000,000 kWh) of half hourly metered electricity (approximately £500k) in the period January to December 2008, from April 2010 you will need to comply with the new Carbon Reduction Commitment carbon trading scheme.

There will be heavy financial penalties for non-compliance and a publicised league table of performance.

On the 23rd June, Infocube ran a successful CRC seminar at the Brawn GP headquarters where we launched our Infocube CRC reporting tool and approach to managing Carbon Dioxide emissions. Speakers from Good Business, IBM and Dalkia helped delegates understand what they needed to do to comply with the new legislation and benefit from it while reducing their financial liability.

This exclusive event was limited to fifty places and so we are sorry if you couldn’t attend. However, we would like to run similar events in the future so please click here to register your interest.

The materials that were presented at the event can be found in the agenda. You can get access to these without registering your details because we know that the value is in the delivery, where we can help. If you are interested and want to know more about the CRC, how it affects you and what you can do to comply and profit from it, please contact us.
